 "We specialize in paintings and calligraphies and usually have about three thousand antique to modern works on hand. We are especially skilled in responding to our customer's requests for scrolls by painters of the kyoto area.
 Every year we sponsor two special sale exhibitions at our new branch store, Gallery Tessai-do, on Shinmonzen-dori just west of Higashioji. In mid-April there is our Modern Japanese Painting Show(works from the Taisho perood to now)and in mid-November is the Painting and Calligraphy Festival with several thousand works from the Edo period to the modern era. The ease with whichi a large number of paintings can be viewed makes these occasions very popular with our customers.
 Additionally, on the sixth day of each month we hold a meeting, the Yoka-kai, for the exchange of art works. We are always available for valuations or cansultaions the sale of callections."
